Yuki Gomez is a curator and producer working in Amsterdam, Tokyo and London.

After she received her MA in Art History, MA Museology & Museums and an Advanced Degree in International Trade in Madrid, she conducted research projects in Finland and in Slovenia. In 2010 she began her career in Tokyo.

She managed contemporary artist Takashi Murakami’s galleries Kaikai Kiki/Hidari Zingaro, where she has organised more than 20 shows including the solo exhibitions of Madsaki, Aya Takano, Mr. and James Jean among others. Additionally, she worked on Murakami’s The 500 Arhats at Tokyo Mori Art Museum and T. Murakami’s Superflat Collection in the Yokohama Museum of Art.

She presented the works of Japanese artists, architects, photographers and designers at the 2021 Architecture Biennial Exhibition Time Space Existence and was a curator of the 2022 Art Biennial Exhibition Personal Structures, hosted by the European Cultural Centre in Venice.

Her Japanese-Spanish background has always helped her to connect people, places, and ideas across cultures and that reflects in her work. She deals with all aspects of a project through the collaboration with artists, commissions, fund raising, research and mentoring.

Her latest film productions are: Lonely City (London, UK), Keep Filming (Amsterdam, Netherlands) which won the Audience Award at the 2022 “48 HFP x Imagine, Aliens on the Green, a film commissioned by Talkies Community Cinema (London, UK) and she is working on a featured film in London.

She is currently the Managing Director of CinemAsia Film Festival in Amsterdam, Head Producer of IN-EDIT International Music Documentary Film Festival and Exhibition Supervisor of Van Gogh & Rembrandt.
